Women Cell
The college has established women cell to bring awareness among the girl
students in the field of sensitization, health hygiene and role of women in
society etc. The college women cell works actively in the college campus to
encourage women empowerment in society through young generation. For this
purpose, every year, women cell committee is formed in which students as well
as staff members are involved to run various activities related to health,
education and society , so that they may excel in the society.
We celebrate International Women Day every year, based on the theme of
the year, to sensitize society with the importance of women and their
contribution for the society. Various guest lectures are organized regularly on
different issues like women hygiene, women rights to aware girl students in the
present scenario.
Besides these guest lectures, women cell committee of college also actively
engaged to conduct counselling of girl students in the campus related to their
personal issues as well as any other grievances. The girl students also take
active participation in academic and cultural activities. These activities help to
bring out their potential and to build confidence.
