Music Department

MUSIC is known as the best-performing art in the world, it's said that where words fail Music speaks. Music is a precious gift of god for humans and it’s the best way for divine worship and meditation. In present times this art is also used as music therapy. In short, we can say that music is the language of the heart which can we share through swar, taal & rhythm, etc. In this College, The Music department plays a very important role in every cultural function of the college. Since the Establishment of the college to date, the music department has been continuously performing its services. Two musical forms, VOCAL MUSIC, and INSTRUMENTALS MUSIC are being taught in this college. The music department plays also a special role in bringing out the hidden musical talent of the students. At present, Ex-students of this department are serving as music professors and music teachers in various educational institutions in Himachal Pradesh. There is hardly any program in the college, in which the music department does not show their musical involvement. The music department has always been entertaining the musicophilia audience in the college and will continue to do so.
